Article written by a college professor who sought to teach college students cubism by creating cubist pieces. Provides summaries of the history of cubism and the processes needed to create different projects for the different styles of cubism. Some of the student-produced cubist pieces were presented, instructions were a little vague.

In-depth article about the history rise of Czech Cubism. Analyzes various theories and approaches to Czech Cubism. Touches on many aspects of this movement in regards to architecture and furniture, and how it impacted the city of Prague. Very interesting and detailed article.
- MacRitchie, Lynn. "Living with Cubism." Art in America. 81 (July 1993): 56-58.
At the time of publication, the art exhibit, "Czech Cubism: Architecture and Design" was presented at the Copper-Hewitt Museum. This article gives the historical information behind the exhibit and details the explosion of cubism in Prague and all over the Czech Republic. Interesting read, provides a little detail of history behind specific pieces, but does not provide any pieces from the exhibit.

Review of the traveling exhibit, "Picasso & Portraiture," in the Museum of Modern Art of New York at the time of publication. Engaging article which gives some history of Picasso, history and stories behind his pieces, and critiques of the pieces in his exhibit. The descriptions are extensive, good review of the exhibit accompanied by great illustrations of the pieces.

This exhibit, also at the Museum of Modern Art (MOMA), featured Picasso and Baroque. The article describes how they both interacted and contributed to the development of cubism. Also gives interesting facts about their respective lives and brief critiques of select pieces. No examples of the pieces in the exhibit were reproduced.Internet

This website presents various structures in Prague. There is not much information here except for a variety of images and their accompanying names and architects. The images are of excellent quality and were used to design this site.

Easy to use, words are listed alphabetically or listed under categories in a frame window. Provides general description of cubism and its different styles and it also includes numerous color examples.

Although difficult to navigate through, it is an online guide to architecture. Provides short intros, bios, and info, but not as detailed as a researcher would require. Also provides a multitude of pictures, but some are upclose shots, not showing the entire building.
